We are grateful for these majestic partners. It is the horses that draw us together. They drive our passion and fuel our dreams. We invite you to meet just a few of the horses at Donato Farms that make every day so worthwhile.
Introducing our senior statesman (aka schoolmaster extraordinaire) Donatus. Donatus won the Developing Horse Grand Prix Championship at the Festival of Champions in 2014. Donatus is the rock. He knows his job and continues to be an amazing teacher.
“The name Donatus means gift from God. His barn name is “Donut” because he is so sweet and everyone loves him! Donatus has the kindest and most gentle personality. He is a sweetheart, in and out of his stall. Donatus loves people and he is the perfect gentleman!” – Jessica
“Meet Goldwyn, our ray of sunshine! At the barn we sometimes call him Goldilocks or Munchkin. Goldwyn has the most adorable and fun personality. Goldwyn has a quirky side as well and loves to be around people. Goldwyn is always ready for any new adventure we have for him. He is very outgoing and does not hesitate to let people know he is around. Goldwyn loves attention and he will let you know when he wants some. This horse is a pure joy to have in the barn.”
Goldwyn has shown through the I-1 and his training continues with the large tour being well within the scope of his talents.
“In the barn, Damon is extremely gentle and is a total joy to handle. He is very sweet and lovable, but also has a reserved and quiet side to his personality. The team in the barn say that Damon is like the child who follows all directions and does not want to cause any problem.”
Damon finished 9th in the nation in the USEF Developing Horse Championships in the Developing Horse Grand Prix the year in 2021 and was Reserve Champion in the I-2 at the 2022 USDF Region 3 Championships.
