Designed to Support

Hosting USEF & USDF events

Donato Farms was designed to support the sport of dressage and contribute to the development of riders and horses for the US Team. In Donato Farms’ inaugural year, we were proud to host two USEF-developing rider and horse evaluations. Going forward Donato Farms has plans to invite USEF and the Dressage Foundation to utilize the facility for clinics and training sessions.

Here are some of the comments from a few of the coaches and participants in the events at Donato Farms.

“I can’t thank Jeff and Jessica Friedrich and Lee and Sarah Tubman enough for opening their farm for the USEF Development Training Sessions this winter. The facility is extremely well set up for these kinds of events and all of us felt warmly welcomed. We appreciate their support and look forward to coming back there for more opportunities in the future!”

“I have had the pleasure of conducting several USEF training and observation sessions at Donato Farms. The place is absolutely beautiful, and every detail has been thought through. The footing is perfect, the stalls big and open and the large, covered arena is great and has lights and sound system. The owners Jeff and Jessica Friedrich go way out of their way to accommodate everyone and so does resident trainers Sarah and Lee Tubman. We are very grateful to be able to conduct some of our USEF training sessions there”

“We had a fantastic experience at Donato Farms at the USEF Development Evaluation with Charlotte Bredahl. The facility is beautiful, and I could feel that my horse, Jameson, was comfortable and loved the footing in the covered arena”.

“I have participated in many USEF training sessions over the years, and this was my first time at Donato. For me coming from out of town, having a stall for my horse made it comfortable for him to rest and be his best. The facility itself offered everything we could have ever needed, and we settled in right away. The arena where we trained had perfect footing and ample space for trainers, owners (and my crazy kid) to view sessions. While it has so much to offer, it still felt very private, which can be hard to find in Wellington. I am so fortunate to be a part of the Developing Program with Sensation FOD and it is because of supporters like Donato Farm, we can continue to grow our pipeline of American dressage.”

“The USEF Developing Training Session at Donato Farms in Feb was one of the best sessions I have been fortunate enough to attend. Jessica, Lee, Sarah, and the entire staff went above and beyond at their beautiful facility to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I hauled in from out of town, so my horse stayed there for the duration… everything was top-notch, and I can’t wait to go back!! Let me know if you need more, or less…. Loved my whole experience there!”

Supporting The Dressage Foundation — Investing in the Future of Dressage

At Donato Farms, we believe true excellence in dressage is cultivated through access to knowledge, thoughtful guidance, and the resources that allow talent to develop fully.

For this reason, we are honored to support The Dressage Foundation — an organization devoted to strengthening the sport at every level through purposeful philanthropy and strategic investment in its people. Since 1989, the Foundation has served as a steward of generosity within the dressage community, transforming donor support into meaningful grants that advance riders, trainers, judges, breeders, and educational programs throughout the United States.

Its impact is both practical and profound: funding that opens doors, education that elevates standards, and opportunity that expands what is possible. By empowering individuals across the sport’s ecosystem, The Dressage Foundation ensures that talent, dedication, and ambition are met with access and encouragement.

Our support reflects a shared conviction — that dressage thrives when its foundation is strong, its pathways are accessible, and its community invests in one another. Donato Farms is proud to stand behind the continued growth, integrity, and long-term vitality of the sport we are privileged to serve.
